Report from the “Patient in Clinical Trials” Conference

The “Patient in Clinical Trials” conference, organized on December 2, 2025, by the Clinical Research and Translational Medicine Support Center (CR&TM SC) of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, was an event dedicated to raising public awareness regarding participation in clinical trials.

The meeting gathered patients, representatives of patient organizations, investigators, physicians, and individuals interested in medical topics. The aim of the conference was not only to present the principles of clinical trials but, above all, to debunk myths associated with them, build trust, and demonstrate their importance for the development of therapies and medical progress. It was repeatedly emphasized that patient participation in research is safe, legally regulated, and crucial both for science and for the patients themselves, who can gain access to modern medical technologies through these trials.

The program included presentations by a number of experts who pointed out the vital role of the patient in modern clinical trials. They highlighted that the informed engagement of participants improves the quality of research, increases its transparency, and influences the development of therapies that better respond to the real needs of the sick. The event resulted in numerous valuable discussions and the exchange of insights and experiences.

We would like to thank all Participants and Speakers. Below we present a photo report of the event.
